The code of Atlas Copco's hydraulic drifters, such as COP 1838ME, is composed of 4 parts (digits or numbers) shown in Table 3. The guide of the 4 parts are shown in Table 4.

There are 4 digits in the code of Atlas Copco hydraulic drifters. The first 2 digits indicate the impact power of the drifter, and the last 2 digits indicate the diameter of drill rods. For example, COP3038 indicates that the impact power is 30kW, and the diameter of drill rods is 38 mm. Of course, the impact power represented by the digit is a rough range. For instance, the impact power of COP1238 is actually 12~18 kW, and the impact power of COP1838 is actually 18~22 kW.
